A Crossroads for a Start-Up Decision.

In the past 5-6 months, we met on one co-founder matching platform. After we shared our stories. My eyes were sparking ✨. I found one who have the same interest! We're really, really and...really into personal development, and decided to team up as well as to interview over 60 people with different backgrounds to find pain points. Things seemed to go well. We gained many insights, and found these two interesting. 1) It's really hard to sustain a habit. 2) really difficult to know what I like or not.

So we had fun brainstorming lots of ideas. Then, we decided to solve these 2 problems by developing www.kaikul.com (briefly a reflective tool to help you explore yourself and sustain your habits by own your words). 🔥

But now here comes to a point. After 5 months, we had only around 5 active users 😅 even though we have reached out more than 5,000 people via the classic method, Linkedin reaching out 😎. One day, we're open what we thought about this project, our crossroad. As we have just 5 active users, no revenue generated and only come-and-go new users, one said "are we going to do this project?" as we have 2 software developers and one businessperson. We can do a lot more.

Angriness, tiredness and doubtfulness....were the emotional environment of a Thursday call. To relieve the situation, we made a decision to took a break for 2 days. The day has come. On Saturday, we had a call and concluded on what we have left. One still said we should pivot to another business idea! With our team, we can make it happen, but two of us are still in the first direction. Therefore, one were invited to leave our team as our vision is not aligned. A bit sad, but life goes on. The two continue to make this happen although they don't know this is going to happen or not...🍀.
