A decentralized reddit-like experience for sites

Hi IndieHacker fam! I lurk IH for a very long time, this is my first time posting 👋

I've been mulling this one for quite some time. The internet these days is very much centralized around twitter/fb/youtube, and I miss the times when you could join a niche forum somewhere, and make friends you'll likely never even see an avatar of. So I used a couple weekends and came up w/ this experiment: https://www.threaded.live/

Right now it's a simple Chrome plugin that'll open up a forum on any site you visit, so you can start topics or participate on existing ones. First iteration was a chat room on sites, but that seems to become very noisy very fast, and engagement is rare since the probability someone will navigate a site at the exact same time you are is pretty slim.

I'm looking for all feedback I can get - from "this is stupid" to feature ideas :-)
