Hello hackers,
Building landing pages for a website is very very painful - you just can't decide on the styling/templates. I have built a lot of websites and I was fed up spending weeks for designing a webpage. So, I finally decided to build a drag-n-drop website builder that uses tailwindcss.
What do you guys think about it? Would you use the same? If you are interested, please consider subscribing here: https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/drag-n-drop-tailwind/
Beta users would be given exclusive lifetime deals with amazing discounts!
I have spent 19 months building a website builder https://versoly.com/ with my co-founder full time.
Some tips :)
Just checked out versoly - great product mate. Thanks for the tips too :)
Thanks, no problem.
I am building a tool to help launch digital products faster - part of that tool is a page builder. My focus is not on the page builder and I see it as a necessary evil.
I am looking to replace my current implementation with another tool.
How would you license/price the tool for the above use case? Which is using the tool in another SaaS product.
One of my ideas with dndtailwind was to provide the the platform as a service so that people could add their components and sell. But my drag-n-drop editor is not yet ready so, I haven't thought of the pricing yet. But I would be happy to chat about the same and expedite the development.
Got it, I have no idea of the market size for my use case - so please do not shift plans based on it. I am following you to keep updated on your progress :)
