A Feature I Built After Researching My First 100 Customers

When I started working on getting my first 100 customers for AutoQuote, I thought I knew the playbook.

Cold outreach + SEO.

So after launching, I stepped away from social media marketing and spent the next few weeks working on the fundamentals. I optimized the landing page for SEO, LLM discoverability, and page speed. My next step was supposed to be cold outreach.

But while researching businesses across different industries that frequently send quotes, I started noticing something interesting.

A lot of their websites had a small chat bubble or popup saying:

“Get a Quote”

You could enter some basic information, submit it, and receive a quote later by email.

And I kept thinking:

What if this entire process could happen directly on the website?

That’s when I decided to build a quote widget for AutoQuote.

The widget is free to embed, even for free AutoQuote users. Paid users can also enable the AI-powered features.

If you run a business where customers frequently ask for quotes, I’d love to hear how you currently handle that process.

And if you want to try the widget, AutoQuote is live at https://www.autoquote.digital/
