I'd disagree that paid ads don't work for early-stage SaaS.

Sure, it's not how you want to grow in the early-stage but it's a great way to get people in very fast and validate your idea or MVP.

Also what do you think of Reddit? We recently saw some great success there just commenting under relevant posts and comments. Surfkey.io by @JohanCutych is great for this.

I love Reddit and have used it many times. Though I could generate real revenue out of it only twice. It's an intriguing channel, one with hidden potential.

If paid ads have worked for you, it's great. I would be wary of relying on them as I have repeatedly seen them causing high churn, low-product engagement and then leading nowhere for early-stage businesses. But then, if someone has the skills to make them work and know what they are doing, by all means they should go for it.
