DHH of Basecamp believes that companies should ignore industry 'best practice' and instead, reason from first principles for almost every decision they make.

Elon Musk's success can, in many ways, be pinned to his first principles thinking.

I know it's just a document, with some nice words on it, but by publishing the manifesto I'll be holding us accountable.

There's little point in www.pilotfish.io trying to directly compete or fit in with the life coaches and soulless mental health organisations, therefore the obvious direction is to question everything we've seen to date and begin to formulate our own way of thinking.

Do you agree with this, or am I thinking about this in the wrong way? I would love to hear your thoughts.
