Every journey begins with a single step, and within the vast landscape of indie coders, mine began with my first sale under the Indie Hacker Program.
I've been steadily building traffic on Twitter organically. It’s been authentic — no shortcuts or fanciful strategies. Just the promise of quality work, consistent communication, and offering value to people who needed it.
The Indie Hacker Program is a direct reflection of that commitment. By repositioning my design expertise within the financial reach of many budding indie hackers and public builders, I was able to help startups and individual creators give their projects the professional design touch they deserve, at a dirt-cheap price.
One of the first satisfactions came with collaborating with the developer behind the @vagabond_cmty project. The developer was juggling between coding and design, which seemed overwhelming. But that’s where I stepped in, and for $87, we transformed their app with six freshly designed screens.

This not only resulted in a fruitful partnership but also a solid foundation upon which the developer could draft other screens. It's projects like these that make me love what I do and remind me of why I started Hack Design in the first place.
Sure, there's joy in the sound of a 'cha-ching' from a sale, but the real satisfaction lies in knowing that my clients are happy with the resulting work. This, for me, has always been of the highest importance.
The Indie Hacker Special is specifically designed to assist community builders in leveling up their projects without breaking the bank. The package is straight and transparent — 5 days of work, unlimited revisions, and a comprehensive design in the form of a Figma file for you to own and build upon.
So you are not sure how to start or finesse your idea? I am here to guide you.
This program not only validates the relevance of Hack Design but also motivates me to continue helping and providing value to the community that I've grown with. The journey with Hack Design has only just begun, and this first sale marks a milestone and a reminder of the impact one can make even with small steps.
So here's to many more builders we'll help, and countless projects we'll transform together. Onward!
Milestones are important.
