A minimalist launcher for iOS

Dumbify - A minimalist launcher for iPhones

We've launched, Dumbify a minimalist launcher for iPhone! 🚀
Now available on the App Store

I've designed a minimalist launcher for iOS to help combat phone addiction.

The minimalistic design is intended to reduce your screen time by keeping your homescreen clean and clear of notifications. Dumbify keeps you intentional about what you place on your homescreen - so you can make more conscious decisions about when and how to use your phone.

But why not buy a dumbphone?

Dumbphones (aka feature phones) can be a great way to try and break your phone addiction. However, they do fall short in many ways and users often find themselves switching back to a smartphone.

Keyboards ⌨️

Let's face it, full screen touch keyboards are superior for a reason. They are easy to use and fast. T9 Keypads were great in their day, but they just can't compete

Lack of critical apps 📱

Dumbphones are great at limiting social apps, but they also limit some apps that are necessary for some folks. Examples such as Signal, WhatsApp, Authenticator applications (such as Google Authenticator), and Google Maps are a few apps that serve as great tools that aren't necessarily "Addictive" in nature.

Lack of availability 🕵

Feature phones just aren't as readily available as smartphones these days. This makes them harder to find, especially if you have strict requirements.

Lack of customizability ✨

There is no one size fits all smart phone. Everyone has their unique set of requirements when it comes to dumb phones. Some people simply want a phone that can text and call. Some want a phone that can text, call, chat on WhatsApp and browse the internet. The options are endless. With Dumbify, you are in control of what you want, but with a feature phone you are up to the mercy of what that feature phone can offer you.

Expensive 🤑

Not everyone has extra cash to dump on a feature phone, even if it's "only $50".

Launching soon!

We're aiming to launch in early April, so make sure to join our waitlist! Let me know what you think!
