A New Path

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been pouring my energy into lately!

After working on DatabaseSample.com to help developers streamline their data workflows, I realized there was a huge opportunity to apply similar technical rigor to a completely different space: Education.

That is how Matematik.ai was born.

The Problem

Most "AI-tutor" platforms on the market today are glorified Q&A bots. They answer a single question, but they don't teach. They lack structure, progression, and the pedagogical depth needed to actually improve a student's mastery of a subject.

The Solution: A Comprehensive Ecosystem

I didn't want to build just another chatbot. Instead, I built an AI-powered educational ecosystem designed to move students through a structured learning journey.

Key features include:

  • Structured Lectures: Instead of ad-hoc answers, we provide comprehensive lecture modules that build knowledge systematically.

  • Level-Based Assessments: Our AI creates and adapts assessments based on the user's specific progress, ensuring they’ve mastered one level before moving to the next.

  • Context-Aware Learning: The system remembers past mistakes and concepts that require more reinforcement, creating a truly personalized learning path.

What's Next?

We are currently in a growth phase, but my sights are set on the international market. I am currently working on aligning our content with US K-12 standards (Common Core and NGSS) to bring this ecosystem to a global audience.

I’d love to get your feedback on:

  1. How do you balance "AI convenience" with "actual learning outcomes" in your own projects?

  2. For those who have scaled EdTech products, what was the biggest hurdle when moving from a local market to international standards?
