A new social media platform for debate style discussions?

Most of us use twitter and similar social media platforms to stay updated with latest happenings. Lately I have been following few issues on twitter and noticed that there are two groups of opinionated users, that discuss and share details of the issue in separate posts or threads. Not just on twitter, but on other social media apps such as instagram, facebook, reddit as well, when an issue is being discussed there will always be one group that supports and one that opposes. Both the groups may have valid points, but the algorithms of these apps can create even more polarization by showing one of them to more users, just because of more impressions.

I think that there is a need for a new social media platform, that shows opinions of both the sides in one single place and leave it for the audience to pick their side after making a learned decision.
I attached a design that I want the platform to look like, where posts from both the sides live next to each other.

Do you think this is a valid problem that you face everyday ? One that is worth investing time and effort into building ? Please share your thoughts and ideas.

Thank you.

This looks like a cool idea. I think there is some scope for an application where there are serious discussions happening and there is a clear visibility of the arguments against it.
