A newsletter about companies going public (IPOs)

Hello fellow IH,

A couple of weekends ago, I started a weekly newsletter as a side project with a list of the companies going public that week.

Here's the backstory: I want to invest some money in the stock market, but I don't want to put all my money in old and well-established companies (like Apple, Amazon, etc.). Instead, I want to invest in "new" companies that are working in fields and industries that I think have some future. But, many of these companies are still private, and many I don't even know they exist. So my solution is to keep track of every company going public, and by that, I can find companies working in the fields I'm interested in (eg. quantum computing).

So, every Monday, I have been compiling this newsletter with all the companies listed to go public that week. The information range from the company's description, primary industry, number of shares, and initial price range, and some relevant links.

Since then, I've grown up to ~50 subscribers, where half are friends, another half from ads.

The reason I'm doing ads, it is not so much to grow an audience but to test and find different target groups and messages. And I'm not good at that.

How do you think it is the best way to find your audience? I'm still not sure what I am offering and what value it brings, so I'm finding it hard to nail a landing page messaging. And it is delaying me to post it publicly on many channels (IH, Reddit, HN, etc.).

Here's the landing page IPO Brief - I have changed the content a few times already.

Let me know what you think (and subscribe if you are interested hehe).

Thank in advance,
Miguel
