Hi IndieHackers!
My friends and I always felt like there could be easier, better ways to access high quality, custom, live datasets on demand. We couldn't find anything that solved that data acquisition problem for non-enterprise users, so we built databar.ai (https://databar.ai).
Databar.ai lets you connect to hundreds of APIs without writing a line of code. All you do is log in, pick a dataset that you need, enter a few parameters, and click run! I think the best way to see how it works is to try it - here are a few use cases that work with our site currently:
Scrape Google Maps reviews for any location (up to 500 per request)
Get foot traffic data for any US chain (i.e. find out how many people visited 7-11 yesterday)
Get the social media sentiment for Twitter stock
Find out crime rates by location or longitude/latitude
Scrape App Store reviews for any app (this one's in Beta, coming out publicly Friday :) )
Scrape news articles by key word
Get historic crypto data by coin or wallet address (+ a whole TON of other on-chain data)
These are just a few - we currently have around 500 connectors set up. We're bootstrapped (as I imagine most are here :) ) and would love to hear what you think of the site!
Thanks!
