A non-sexual dating app to find coffee dates with other founders and entrepreneurs to talk about ideas and problems & more

IdeaBot's report #12 came out yesterday and I wanted to share the 5 product ideas from it! Have fun with any of them if you want!

  1. A non-sexual dating app to find coffee dates with other founders and entrepreneurs to talk about ideas and problems.

  2. An AI that can give you fashion advice based on your face shape, hair color, age, gender, occupation, etc.

  3. A social network for people who need to do something specific like quit smoking, lose weight, learn a language, etc. and the platform helps you find a buddy to learn or quit together.

  4. An app that makes a phone call to a random person every day (other users) and you have to talk for a few minutes. It's perfect for introverts and shy people.

  5. ConfessionWall: a website where people can anonymously share their deepest secrets. An AI reads out the text and creates a video out of it.

My favorite from this report is #1 and #4 (it's kind of a fun idea).

Hope you find something valuable!

Interesting, #1 and #4 combined seem like Lunchclub (https://lunchclub.com/)!

I am curious how the IdeaBot generates ideas. Are these human created ideas that are then selected by the AI, or does the AI do the actual idea generation?

    Anyway, looks interesting!

      Wow, LunchClub looks awesome 😎

An AI generates all of the ideas, and I select the interesting ones manually!

Lunchclub is great. If anyone want to join, let mee know. I will send invite link.

      1. 2

can I get an invite? Thanks!

        1. 1

          Hi Joe. I don't have.

      2. 2

Is it still invite only? I've been using it throughout the recent "stay-home-time" and I agree it's just fantastic.

Ideabot is cool. Just got a new subscriber!

    1. 1

      Wohoo! Thanks Kyle!!! :D

  3. 2

    Great ideas, definitely subscribed :)

  4. 2

I would love to meet up with local founders, I live in an area that is not a main city so it's a bit annoying. I'd use the app.

    1. 1

Don't you want to build it? :D

      1. 1

Honestly, probably not! Too many things in the air right now!

  5. 2

It's a bit funny when IdeaBot's newsletter had the following haha.

" A startup idea generator on the web. Gets your name/age/sex/location/interests/etc. Then creates a startup idea around that. "

  6. 2

    #1 -> Bumble Biz

  7. 2

    looks cool, just signed up!

#1 is a lot like https://shapr.co/, which was good for a while but mostly mlm/crypto bots and spammers now :/

    1. 1

Thanks for trying it out! :D
Yes youre right, and bots are a big problem in these types of apps

  8. 2

First one kinda sounds like YC's startup school. You connect with other founders and discuss things. They've iterated it a lot since I did it in 2019 and 2020. Not sure what they're up to now. Might be worth checking out to get some inspiration

  9. 2

I felt amazing to read about the idea

    1. 1

And isn't it awesome that an AI came up with them?! 😊

  10. 2

#1 is appealing, but I just worry it'll be full of bots and scammers. You'd need some sort of approval process to filter out the bad actors.

    1. 1

Well kind of yes, it's always hard to filter out creeps/scammers in dating apps

  11. 2

Hmm.. i'll build #4 with no code for the fun of it, just an Anonymous feed should be interesting

    1. 1

Check out Dialup.com, it's basically the same concept. It might be helpful for getting some inspiration. :)

    2. 1

I'm glad you've got something out of these ideas!!:)

  12. 2

Love the ideas, regarding #3, see: https://www.hona.io/

    1. 1

      Awesome project there 😎

  13. 1

As an experienced founder, I'd go for ConfessionWall. Moats are high. there are lots of low-hanging fruits in terms of user acquisition

Of course, anything can happen the app shouldnt permit it😂
