A personal challenge: super simple curated content
A couple days ago I started a personal challenge to turn a WordPress based site I owned into a simple curated content “machine.”
My rules going in were:

It had to be “done” by Friday (that gave me 5 days)

It has to be as automated as I could make it, without it being completely automatic — human curated, but super easy to get content inside

It’s going to run on Google Cloud Platform so it has to use as few resources as possible (bandwidth, CPU, memory, etc.)

It must be insanely fast, scale we’ll, and be fully indexed/searchable

Next up: ways to add growth tools (social sharing, email digest, etc.) so it can grow “organically” on its own — before I dive into marketing it to drive traffic myself.
