A podcast or newsletter to highlight dev teams?

I've had this growing urge to try my hand at podcasting lately. I've been struggling a little bit with what I'd focus my podcast on but recently it dawned on me that I could focus on an angle that I myself wish existed.

What is this angle?

I live in Cincinnati, OH and I enjoy networking w/ people quite a bit but I realized my view of the dev ecosystem in my town is limited to those I'm immediately connected to. There isn't a publication or news source that highlights dev. teams and the cool things they are doing but if there were I feel like I'd have a better picture of what's going on amongst devs in Cincinnati.

If this existed I'd try to cover

What problems they're solving
What kind of culture they have
How they are organized
What tech/patterns/tools they're trialing, adopting, using, or moving away from
What job opportunities they currently have

My questions to the group are:

Would this be something you'd subscribe or listen to?
Is there anything else I should include in what I cover?
Which sounds more enticing - a podcast, newsletter, or both?
Can you think of any hurdles I might be ignoring or overlooking?
