A privacy browser with 100% offline AI and public telemetry

I'm really excited to finally share what my team and I have been building: Cronos Browser.

Like many of you, I was getting frustrated with the current state of web browsers. You either have to use a browser that tracks everything you do, or you use a secure one that feels outdated and lacks modern features. And when it comes to AI, sending every single prompt and browsing context to a remote cloud server felt like a privacy nightmare.

So, we decided to build the tool we actually wanted to use.

Here is what we built into Cronos:

• 100% Offline AI (UIKI): We integrated an on-device AI assistant that runs completely locally. Zero cloud dependencies, meaning your data literally never leaves your machine.

• Public Telemetry: We hate "trust us" privacy policies. So we made our network monitoring completely public. You can mathematically verify exactly what the browser is (and isn't) doing.

• Stellar Mode: As developers and gamers, we hated when background media paused. On Cronos (both PC and iOS), your media keeps playing in the background seamlessly, even if you lock your screen.
