Hey everyone
Over the past months, I’ve been building a self hosted Instagram automation system in Python designed for creators, agencies, marketers, and businesses managing multiple accounts.
The idea came from seeing how repetitive and time-consuming Instagram management becomes at scale. Handling posts, reels, stories, uploads, scheduling, captions, hashtags, mentions, and coordination across multiple accounts quickly turns into a full time operational task.
Most existing tools I found either:
• rely heavily on API limitations
• come with expensive recurring subscriptions
• lack flexibility for advanced workflows
• or don’t scale well when managing many accounts
So I decided to build something more customizable and automation-focused.
Current capabilities include:
✅ Multi account management
✅ Post / Story / Reel scheduling
✅ Media upload support (photos, videos, carousels)
✅ Campaign coordination across accounts
✅ Caption, hashtag & mention management
✅ Long term content planning
✅ Modular Python architecture
✅ Self hosted setup with full source code included
The goal was to reduce repetitive work, simplify operations, and make content management significantly more efficient for people handling multiple Instagram accounts.

I’m currently validating positioning and use cases before pushing this further.
What’s the biggest pain point you face with Instagram management today?
The self-hosted angle is smart — agencies hate recurring SaaS fees at scale. Curious about your validation approach though. Are you targeting solo creators or agencies managing 10+ accounts? Because the pain point is very different between them. Solo creators want simplicity, agencies want reliability and audit logs. Positioning for one will actively repel the other. What's the feedback been so far on who's actually reaching out?
