A professional network like Linkedin for Remote workers?

Problem-

In the post-COVID-19 world, a lot of companies are thinking to move into work from home model work due to obvious reasons less office cost, time-saving and more productivity for employees.
Which among people leads to social alienation and less human connections.
Similarly, freelancers and other remote working people feel this social alienation as well.

Idea/Solution

A professional social network for people working remotely, where they can connect, arrange meetings with people nearby, find jobs, share their experiences, posts, blogs etc with other remote workers around the world.

What do you think about the idea? Would you like to suggest any features? What do you say how should I proceed? Should I build the website myself on Wordpress or find a technical co-founder. Please do help me with some of my questions. Thank You

The problem you stated is persisting,
Have you validated the existing solutions/forums like https://meetup.com?

How you are gonna overcome the issues alike existing??

Meetup is basically a place for group meetings according to users interest. Our main focus will be on one on one meeting between remote workers who are nearby in the same city. Although the group meeting feature is also quite good and i think of including that in the app too.

What problem are you addressing that LinkedIn does not?

    1. 1

Exclusivity only for remote workers. To make them connect easier with likeminded people.

Why wouldn't Linkedin offer that as a feature?

Because I think Linkedin is a community of a very large group of users. It can't just niche down to a single group of users.
