When we reviewed GreenPeak Gardens’ Shopify store, they were using more than 20 apps for digital downloads, subscriptions, license keys, bookings, analytics, and other store functions.
Each app solved a small problem, but together they created a bigger one: high monthly costs, slower performance, and too many systems to manage.
Our team at ShopNinjas audited the full app stack and found several tools with overlapping features. Instead of replacing everything blindly, we looked at what the business actually needed and rebuilt the setup around fewer, more useful solutions.
One of those solutions was PayDrop, our Shopify app for digital file delivery, license key management, subscriptions, and customer downloads. It replaced multiple separate tools with one connected system.
The project took around 1 to 2 weeks. The result was a store loading in under two seconds and a reduction of $3,000 in monthly app expenses.
The biggest lesson was simple: adding more apps is not always the answer. Sometimes growth comes from removing unnecessary tools and simplifying the system behind the store.
