A simple idea management tool?
Can anyone recommend a simple idea management web app? It needs to have an idea capture, sorting, voting system and statuses.

Maybe build your own on Airtable?
I usually use Miro, it's pretty good to capture ideas

I've used the first two. Canny is really nice, but a touch expensive if you're bootstrapping. Upvoty delivers a good experience for the $.

You didn't mention if this was private/public use, but most of those can be used in either situation
Thank you for the list. I can see they are all positioned as "feedback" tools, not much of the idea management, though some mention it. But they can be repurposed I suppose. I was looking for a simple tool to manage innovation ideas specifically (I should have mentioned that :\ ).

i tried to build a simple idea table in notion and it sucked (...adding: my implementation of said idea table, not necessarily Notion).
Thanks for the reply, @atlrox. What are you looking for? Is it to organise your own ideas or for a team you're part of? What features do you need?
for me, i wouldn't say i have a strong interest in this product/service, but it's there - i occasionally think about it -- in part because i write down about 1 new-ish idea per day.
it's def a first-world problem for me.
actually, I listened to one of the Tuft & Needle (https://www.tuftandneedle.com/) guys on IH Pod today and the guy said he and his buddy basically decided one day to do their own thing and they quickly thought up a few simple criteria that their idea had to abide by/conform to.
i honestly don't remember what they were - i'll have to listen again b/c i thought it was potentially very valuable.
as a guess for this comment, it was prob something along the lines of:
and it made me think about my junky idea table - i had basically built a simple points system to make the decision for me, about which idea i should work on next.
granted, it was my first attempt, so it can be refined/fixed, but what if you had an 'opinionated idea app' that was 'biased towards action' and biased towards actually helping you choose and then maybe even start investigating/exploring/implementing an idea in a more rirorous way than, "well, i thought about it while i was in the shower, and decided it's a stupid idea."
i've been looking into a lot of automation/no-code-related apps lately, including Airtable and Baserow and others, and they feel like insane overkill to me -- kitchen sink-type functionality -- throw it all in there, make it as overwhelming and flexible as possible, maybe we can be the next Salesforce.
not hating, but i like single-purpose apps/things/devices.
like i saw this indoor tire-flipper crossfit device thing yesterday - maybe being sold by Titan -- it's completely ridiculous. and awesome.
so if i was going to actually track my bad ideas, i would want something that was focussed on ideas -- not viewing my ideas in either grid/chart/kanban format -- and would either help me develop them, and/or ultimately decide whether to pursue one or more of them.
