A team for creating a portfolio of many side projects

Would it make sense to create a team of creators with complementary skills in order to build a portfolio of various side-projects?

How I came up with this idea. I am in the process of learning UI/UX design, so I am creating some portfolio projects. However, it would be nice if I could fully build some of them but I don't have all the skills I need or the time to do that.

So, my idea is to create a team of creators that will build and launch many side projects in a short time (let's say one product per month or something).

Would something like that make any sense? Let me know what you think!
