A tool to convert linkedin profile to beautiful resume easily

I found some results, but I think it's either too complicated (export data from linkedin, import in the website ...), or the templates are not beautiful.

Do you know if that kind of service already exists ?

Thank you guys !

I'll bet it would be useful for some. Questions:
    How would you make money?
How would you find people who would want it? Freelancers/contractors? Maybe once up and running you could pair up with recruiters?
Where would you get the templates from? Are you a designer? Programmer?

Not criticisms just throwing some thoughts in the air.

Hey ! Thank you for asking those questions !

I think people don't want to buy subscription, because you don't want to do your resume every month right ? So maybe, we'll propose templates to buy.
We would create our templates, i'm a programmer and I've got a buddy who is too and he's very good with design, so I think we can work something out :)

      Not taking !

Yeah, I think you have a couple of basic templates and then a bunch of paid templates. I also think you need a nice web editor to make tweaks and when you export you export in several formats. I like the idea for the service as it's something post people keep updated, where I don't update my resume until I'm job hunting and its been using the same template for like 5 years =/

Hi guys ! Thank you for your answer. We are almost finished with V1. But we must find a way to monetize it.
The problem is, people will want to buy templates for their resume one shot, they don't want to get mensually offer, and we seek MRR, do you have any suggestions on how we can perform ? or any idea ?

    Again, thank you !

https://www.cakeresume.com is a really good tool with that functionality i guess. Hard to monetize it tho.

I had a similar ideas in my ideas backlog.

Some hypothesis that i had in the past:

    1. Creating resumes from linkedin often lead to multi-page resumes.
    2. When hiring - recruiters need to scan if the candidate has suitable requirements for the job. It would be great if each resume could be tailor to the job posting.

    Example:
If a job requires candidate to have 5 years experience in X Industry. A resume builder could help highlight those requirements in a candidates resume.

Oh, you mean like adding a specific tag or something when people do stuff, like they spend X year in industry ? Yeah, that might be a good idea for later !
For now we'll concentrate in restetuting the data from LinkedIn

      Thank you :)

Good to hear a little step @Sorasful

    Queston:

    1. Who will be the major user? (don't tell me everyone one LinkedIn)
    2. How would you measure customer life cycle?
    3. What would be the potential monitization model?

the inverse might also be kinda of cool and more practical although harder. Upload a resume and update your linkedin profile. Reason I suggest this is because online profiles are rarely accurate and up to date you might end up with a resume creator that just pulls information from your social sites (which could work as well). Either way it wouldn't be a one click solution, I imagine most users would have to modify the output to a great extent.

Yes I agree it could be cool too. But I think, creating and updating Linkedin profile is boring the first time, then it's quick to add an experience. That is why we prefer to do it this way.

But thank you for your suggestion, it's appreciated :)
