A tool to poll people IRL

I built quickpoll

It's a tool that allows you to quickly create a poll, like strawpoll and people can vote by simply scanning the QR Code.

I had the idea when I was getting into eCommerce a little bit and imagined I wanted to ask customers, who got my package, a question.

How do I get as many people as possible to answer? I have to make it as easy as possible to answer.
I can't think of anything with a lower barrier.

The original idea was to sell it to eCommerce people, if it works out the way I think and customers actually answer.

But it's really applicable to basically anything physical. I can imagine café's or bars taping it to a table. Or at a wall at the gym. Or at your food truck. The codes are essentially just IRL buttons people can press.

The tone is still a little unfocused, I can't decide whether to focus on eCommerce or on... everyone ¯\(ツ)/¯.

There are a couple of premade templates, or you can just download the QR Codes and have your designer design a pixel perfect flyer or poster.

That's also the reason why I didn't built any drag and drop editor. I think >90% of people will either want just premade "quick&pretty enough" or "I want this fully branded" and designers wanna work with their own tools, not with my budget html editor.

I made the designs myself as a developer, so they look... meh. I'm having a designer help me out soon.

I don't really think this offers enough value to be paid for at the moment. But it was really fun to build.

I'm a backend developer usually and to go full frontend and build a somewhat production ready nextjs frontend was really interesting. Its also good to just have a frontend shell ready with a landing page, auth, a way to make requests that I like, error handling etc for my next projects

I feel I also need to still find a really visual way to convey how low effort it is to take the poll. I got the text at the top of the polls, but I would love if that was an image somehow.
