A traditional roast my landing page
Hi all,
I have spend the new year so far creating a new landing page. Please burn it to the ground! Curious to hear your thoughts.
Still got some problems with the favicon but the rest should be done.

I agree with the comment from @bastiancreates

It’s based on the StoryBrand principles of how to sell through storytelling. You want to immediately hit on the known pain points of your potential users/customers. Then show them what winning looks like by using your product or SaaS in this case.
Still like the clean look and love the white space!

Hi @jhart728, thank you for taking a look. I remember looking at this exact pdf a while back, but the problem with this approach when just starting out is that testimonials are hard to come by without any paying users/partners. How'd you approach this situation then?
So you don't have to have testimonials. We all must start somewhere! So, in that case, you would want to focus on your authority, as in, why must I trust you, new person, that your stuff is so great! You can do this by creating the best plan for a person/business that needs a pinpoint solution. Make it easy and clear what you are going to solve for them and be sure to let them know how they can buy it, sign up for it, or whatever you are trying to accomplish.
As a side note, you can literally have any friend, colleague, family member, and so forth provide you a testomonial. Is this a fine line? Yes, no, maybe! You must be very clear in what you are after and let anybody who will listen to you try it and then ask them for a brutally honest review like you did on this forum. Then, ask them to allow you to use their testimonial on your site. It can include their name, pic, and/or business, or you could simply say "~by Content Creator" or "~by [Insert Title]".

Thank you! I will give it a try, we must all start somewhere. I am going to take your point on a new person, it is a great inspiration for targeting my page a bit more. Maybe not what you meant, but def inspirational.

I like the simple and basic page. I am not sure about your potential customer's opinion but I like it. Note: The Blog page's Latest part look like kinda invisible. Maybe you know already.

Your design is very clean, I totally agree on the fact that there is too much whitespace (never ever thought I would ever say that), curious to hear where you got that visual from.

For example, when you are in "Create Transcriptions with Qanda: A Step-by-Step Guide", Step 1 keeps the white background, but as you scroll down all the other steps are not visible, as the background goes from white to black!
As per the visual, I got it from a pack from "illiyinstudio"

Hi Germerlo, I totally agree. The copy could use a lot of work 😂. I am super bad at this, but I've given it some thought and updated the website. I should probably consider someone on Fiverr to take a proper look sometime..
It could be. But also you can improve by your own. It's a matter of iteration. Keep on that way!
The one thing I notice is just the typography is a bit "off".
