A web guy's start at being an indie hacker

As the story goes, this one guy wanted to do this one thing that would allow him to do all kinds of other things he really wanted to do.

Hi there! I am John, theWebGuy_. I am a designer and web-slinger by trade. I am the "one guy" mentioned above and the "one thing" I am wanting to do is create a sustainable business where I can be my own boss and do all the "other things" I would like to experience in life.

Currently, my day job pays the bills, provides extras, and is something I can easily do for the rest of my work life. I am just not sure that is what I am wanting to do for another 20+ years. I also freelance as a web and graphic designer but it is small mom-and-pop type work and they don't have large budgets.

I am currently working on my brain-fart of an idea to see how best to make it happen. I am really interested in the NoCode approach and think it would be awesome if I can actually knock this first one out. I can muddle my way through code but it is not a strong skill. Design is where my skills are. I have years of experience with WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite as well as several other tools. I will try to leverage what I know and see where it goes.

So far I feel I am off to a good start. I am not trying to re-invent the wheel. Simply trying to iterate on the design a bit. 🤪
