A weekly newsletter that uncovers developer trends in demand and pay - DevTrends

Hey everyone!

I am a full-time developer that enjoys uncovering trends, graphs, and writing. I thought I would combine all those interests into a newsletter.

DevTrends is a weekly newsletter that will be sent out every Friday morning. It will uncover trends in the development industry and will be data-driven and full of graphs. Whether your a developer that enjoys a quick read on trends, a dev looking to transition to another stack, or a newbie - this newsletter is for you.

I put out 3 newsletters now, so feel free to check them out here!

Appreciate any feedback!

Interesting concept! Just read through some of the issues.

What I'd be looking for were places where I could apply. Maybe some hand-picked not FAANG companies which are "on the rise" right now. That way I don't have to do the research myself and get more value out of your newsletter.

You could for example use crunchbase to look into startups who got recently funded / had a new round since they're almost always spending a huge portion of that money on hiring.

Maybe later on you can offer a "paid section" for companies in every newsletter where they can display their current job openings. Hiring is still a huge pain for a lot of companies.

    Looks awesome @crvanhoof! I subscribed.

I'm curious: how many subs do you have right now, and how are you getting subscribers/marketing your newsletter? I'm thinking of starting a substack soon as well :)
