Background: My car got towed today

Idea: Paid notification service so that you can get alerted 30 mins before you get towed via SMS.

How it works: Sticker with QR code linked to customers mobile number is placed on the inside windshield of a car. Tow companies scan this before towing. To alert the customer.

Why it’s attractive:

The cost of a towed car is expensive - $200+ each trip. If you can save that expense (especially those living in cities) by paying for an alert service, it would save you money.
For tow companies (who make money off towing), you can pay them a set cut of the revenue to simply scan the sticker before towing. This is set revenue each and every month for a business that’s typically has unsteady cash flows. Partnerships would have to be made to accomplish this but the incentive seems to be there.
