Recently left Google to spend some time indie making, looking for some feedback on my first project
Hey indie hackers, about a month ago I wrapped up my final week working at Google as an iOS dev with the plan of spending a year or so exploring some personal projects.
My first week working out of my home office I undertook a big deep clean of my apartment with the goal of making the environment more conducive to healthy work and concentration. At the same time I stumbled upon Mari Kondo's new Netflix show and theminimalists blog which got me motivated to do an accounting and pare down of my possessions.
As I was working I kept wishing there a tool to track my progress that was simple and minimal, but with a bit more structure than a spreadsheet, so I built one! https://mythingsmap.com/
Now that my apartment is all clean and organized, and my app is complete-ish, I'm planning on sharing it and adding some 'pay what you want' monetization, but I have some questions first. This is my first solo web project and monetization, so bear with me.
Thanks for any recommendations! Please feel free to use the app, but treat it as beta for now, it isn't quite ready for a full launch. (And if you feel inclined, you can read more about my indie year project here: johndetloff.com)
