About Fwdpage
Fwdpage is a profile page for your links, posts, music, events, and contact details — all under a single URL, and free of charge.
What I’ve consciously left out is particularly important to me.
There is no algorithm; the feed simply runs in chronological order. No public like counts, no ads. And no cookies—not just the "technically necessary" ones, but truly none at all. No content is loaded from external sources either: no CDN, no Google Fonts, no analytics services. If you open your browser’s network console, you’ll see that everything comes from a single domain. If you do find a request that goes beyond that, let me know — I’ll fix it today.
It is precisely these mechanisms that encourage people to post — but they are also what make the whole experience exhausting. I’d rather do without them.
You sign up using a "Magic Link" or a passkey, so you don’t have to come up with a password. Plus, you control the visibility of every element and post yourself: public, logged-in users only, followers only, or private.
There is no integrated payment provider, so I can’t actually sell you anything right now. A paid version is planned, but what is free now will stay free. The servers are located in Germany, and GDPR compliance applies.
Here’s what’s missing (for now): no custom domains, no embedded content (that’s the trade-off for not loading anything from third-party providers), and no open-source code. The project has been online for six weeks and was developed by a single person.
I’m particularly interested in one thing: What does your current "link-in-bio" service do that would stop you from switching? I’m already aware of custom domains and embeds as reasons — I’m looking for that one point I haven’t thought of yet.
The deliberate constraints are interesting, especially removing the engagement mechanics that make most link-in-bio products sticky. Curious what users say they would actually miss beyond custom domains and embeds.

Do you mean custom domains — such as yourdomain(dot)com — instead of a personal Fwdpage URL?
Every profile already comes with a shareable URL like fwdpage(dot)com/username or the shorter version fpgo(dot)to/username Additionally, each box and media content has its own editable URL suffix (slug) and a direct link.
However, custom domains aren't available yet — was that what you had in mind?

That is precisely the question that interests us most. Fwdpage does not aim to be yet another full-fledged social network—yet it offers more than just a static "link-in-bio" page.
So far, we see three key use cases:
A simple, privacy-focused page for links and updates that can be set up once and used indefinitely.
A smaller, more low-key community space: follow posts, browse profiles and a chronological feed, and discover what people nearby are sharing. This is particularly appealing to musicians, bands, and local service providers.
A digital business card: you can share or scan a Fwdpage and—provided permission is granted—save the person directly as a contact on your phone.
We are just getting started, but our goal is to facilitate meaningful connections and discoveries without replicating the pressure to interact found on conventional social media.
