Accident Launch on Product Hunt

A hunter shared my product Kaffae (https://kaffae.com) on Product Hunt yesterday. I became aware of it when I got an email from spam bot that they could help boost the vote. Ouch!

I was grateful that someone shared it. But ugh, the pictures and descriptions weren't set right. It had already a handful of votes. So I decided to go with it. This whole thing came on light as I was just thinking about a proper launch in 2 weeks. Such a mixed feeling!

Would you have turned it out?

I have always thought of being promoted for free as a good thing but this does pose a problem. What if a competitor purposely does this with shitty pictures to crash a product?

Does PH have a solution for that? I think you should be able to update the thread and descriptions, being the maker of the project.

Ya, it came as a surprise for me too as I was totally unaware of it.

I heard you can message Product Hunt team to remove the listing. It seems like a good idea to keep your PH profile up to date tho!
