Added a Getting Started Page - does it help?

https://critimon.com/getting-started.php

I did a relaunch of CritiMon nearly a week ago. I've set up advertising campaigns on Google Ads - I'm had so far around 90+ clicks but so far no sign ups.

I've also had a couple of people message me through the chat bot asking how do they use the service. I thought the landing page made it pretty clear - maybe I'm wrong but I thought it might help to add a getting started page showing it can be set up in 3 simple steps (with an optional 4th step).

The getting started page can be found at https://critimon.com/getting-started.php. Let me know what you think.

    My quick thoughts:

    1. Yes, a Getting Started page is crucial. Hold your customer's hand.
    2. The colors are far too bold - it may be your brand color, but that doesn't mean it must be used everywhere. You can restrict it to your logo, your navbar, border colors, or highlights. But to use a color as a background for text, it absolutely can't be so bright.
    3. ~70% of the text on that page is unnecessary. I'm not exaggerating:

Sign up for an account and choose which plan you want to use. There are 3 plans available, Free, Small and Pro plans.

The main differences between the plans is the number of registered apps and the data retention period. The pro plans have an additional feature where you can receive SMS alerts to new crashes.

Paid plans come with a 14 day trial

We do not store any card information, this is handled by our payment gateway Stripe

The only thing the user needs to know to "Get Started" is the very first sentence. "Sign up for an account and choose which plan you want to use". The rest is either obvious or unnecessary for now.

(sorry for the curtness, I'm trying to be as quick as possible) Good luck!

Thanks no worries all feedback is good. I got the idea of putting the heading on the branding background from some other sites which people seemed to like but it seems be drawing more negative feedback - i think it may be because their own branding colour was a fair bit darker compared to mine, maybe that's the difference so I'll think I'll remove it.

Honestly, I think your design is a bit extreme colours-wise. I'd get rid of the red colour behind the text, get a nicer font and adjust your paragraph settings (bolder headings, more spacious text).

Also, images & video sell. I'd embed something.

What do you mean behind the test?
I think I will remove the red section under "Why Use CritiMon" on the landing page and on each step on getting started I'll make it switch between white and light grey instead of the red - maybe that is a bit too in your face - although I've seen other website kinda similar so thought it worked. :)

Sorry, I meant 'behind the text'.

Ah, sorry I should have realised that's what you meant.
I'll have a play with the landing page again tonight and see what happens :)

I'd recommend reducing the amount of text and increase the padding between the paragraphs. It's quite overwhelming to be honest. Generally, the whole red colour is quite off-putting plus the screenshots of the homepage are hard to actually see.

Maybe try a standard landing page builder like Landingi.com and use a working template to see if that converts better.

      Thanks.
The red is the branding so I can't easily change that, although I might remove the second section of red where the screenshots are, make it a light grey or something and rework it a little bit for the images.

Thanks, I was thinking of adding images but decided against, as I thought it might bloat out the page too much as its supposed to be just to show the simple steps for using the service but I'll see if I can add some
