Added snippet sharing functionality within Browser Snippets!

I’ve posted before about my side project, Browser Snippets. It was in a private beta while I built out the core features for the MVP.

The main feature I wanted to get built before moving to an open beta was the ability for users to create teams. Teams allow you to write snippets and invite other users to use yours and contribute their own the the team. Another little extra I wanted was to make it easy for people to switch teams on the platform and in the chrome extension.

I’m happy to say that this is all released and Browser Snippets is now in open beta, available for everyone to sign up to and use for free.

One thing I’ve been slacking on is the landing page. I wanted to get something shiny and informative, but as a quick-win I’ve added a demo video of the service in use on the registration page.

Almost there! Happy I can openly share the build progress here while it’s still a WIP. Hopefully some of you will find it useful (I mainly built it to share snippets I write with non-developers who needed a little extra functionality on a site).
