Address lookup api
Hey everyone,
I'm thinking of creating an address lookup api for the UK and Ireland. It's just a service that my employer is paying for but they aren't too happy with it so I see it as a potential opportunity 😅. Anyway let me know what ye think if anything at all 😊
I did not think that everyone can change the IP address on their own if they need to. But you still need to learn how to do it and spend your own time. And I think that such tasks are best left to professionals. For example, I last ordered here 192.168.1.1.1 admin . And I was very satisfied with the work. This service saved me a lot of time.
Yes, I use address lookup API and I pay $12 for a year. I do not have many users, but I understand there is a post office database which anyone could use and create an API.
I am happy to pay you anything below my current expenditure if your api is reliable.
Is this similar to the google places api?
Mmm not too sure what this is. Is this something where I start typing in an address and it'll auto complete it?
Like, let's say the address is:
100 Sandeep Street, Bathurst, New South Wales
And I start typing in "100 San", and it'll show a few options perhaps like:
Yeah that's essentially it. Users can use a postcode alternatively. It would auto fill their address fields. Pretty simple
Yeah sounds very useful. Seems quite hard to build, but I imagine other people do not want to build it and would be willing to pay for a solution.
Maybe you could set up your pricing in a similar way to those ip address to country databases
