Over the past year, I kept running into the same situation when talking to early-stage founders. They were moving fast — building, shipping, talking to customers — but their branding lagged behind. Not because they didn’t care, but because everything else felt more urgent.
Most founders I spoke with weren’t looking for a big agency process or endless revisions. They wanted something simple: a clean look that matched what they were building, done quickly, with clear expectations and no surprises. Something they could put in front of users, partners, or investors without overthinking it.
That gap kept bothering me. On one side, there were cheap, fast options that felt generic. On the other, agencies that required more time, budget, and involvement than most early teams could not realistically afford. There didn’t seem to be much built for founders who just needed momentum.
That’s what pushed me to start Inknest. The idea was to focus on speed, clarity, and taste — delivering real design work without unnecessary process. It’s still early, but it’s been interesting to see how many founders resonate with this approach and how often the same pain points come up.
Curious if others here felt a similar tension when launching or reworking their product, and how you handled it.
