Figma is an awesome product overall - makes perfect sense
They raise 331.8 million before selling. It makes me wonder how much the founder walked away with. Considering, it's literally billions, hopefully, quite a few quid.
I know of a company that sold for millions, and the founders got pretty much nothing out of it because they had so many investors.
I don't know the details of the deal, but usually such large deals are made with cash and stocks, that being said 20b it's still a lot, so I can speculate that the founder is well-off from that deal. :)
They did it again. I understand that money probably played a major role on this deal, but I don't the guys at Figma sold to their company to the right buyer.
I guess that from now onwards, I should call it Adobe Figma.
Yeah, I agree. There's something neat about the David vs. Goliath feel that some companies have. Crazy AF (Adobe Figma) haha π
