Our goal is to make the first "url shortener" (we are more that an url shortener) that uses the blockchain.
What could be the advantages of this technology?
Premise: we are in the testing phase and something could escape us but the advantages are numerous.
We could verify and badge secure links, we would have an extra level of security.
We may monitor the change status of the content of that link over time.
We could make that link accessible only to a few people or even break the copyright check, encrypting everything. (like mega.nz).
These are just a few ideas.
Adshrink.it, therefore Anchoreth too, does not only deal with links and metrics. Adshrink.it has been collecting data for over 5 years and has millions of rows in the database about links, users, preferences.
Our goal is also to collect user data and consequently their associated preferences, obtained by visiting the links, and store them in the blockchain.
The idea is to use this data to offer higher quality content or even help owners monetize their data, which can happen by enriching existing data on behalf of other companies or for minor causes.
What will the tokens be used for?
In an increasingly technological world, the switch from fiat to crypto is inevitable. It is natural to think of using tokens as a means of reward, completely eliminating the constraints of the current currency, seeing the value of the token increase over time and eliminating inflation. (see paypal, stripe or similar in underdeveloped countries, they are not supported)
