Advanced Filtering for Chrome Extensions
Hi there,
I was about to develop my second Chrome extension, and since my first one was not much of a success, I was searching for some demand and opportunity on the Webstore.
Then I realized that the search filter on the Webstore is pretty much useless, so I postponed my extension development and created Webstore Insight (WI).
With WI you can filter with almost any criteria you want, for example you can filter by this rule:
"Get extensions with a rating of 4+ stars with 5000+ users, updated before 2nd of March 2020 with at least five 3+ star reviews since 1st of March."
... and many more.
The result for the filtering rule above will be this (first 10 results, omitting details):

I think there is an opportunity in extension development. Some of the extensions are not updated for a long time, despite users still posting reviews.

It's a neat idea and definitely useful for finding opportunities for improving existing extensions that are popular but outdated. I made a similar site when I was researching extensions a few years ago. Here is a post from a couple of days ago where someone else is building a similar site. Maybe you two could work together.
