Advice for kickstarting a newsletter?

Just wondering if anyone with a "successful" newsletter has any advice for me. I've been tinkering with the idea of starting one (mainly for personal accountability, but also for fun).

Cheers

I don't think there is a special formula for that.
If you want to kickstart your Newsletter, you'll need a community. If you tons of Followers on Twitter for example, this can be extremely helpful!

Anyway, I won't personally focus on kickstarting a Newsletter for some obvious reasons :

    • Writting a Newsletter take a LOT of times and effort, if you have 100 subscribers on the launch day, you'll have way too many stress andyou will disappoint them if you don't ship in time
    • Writting Newsletters take also some practise! It's good to start with 2/3 subscribers you personally know, so you can ask them for feedback and improve other time

If your Newsletter is good, if you deliver your NL in time each time and if your content is really good, you will naturally get more and more subscribers!

      Thanks mate. That's solid advice.

I have next to nothing in terms of followers, but as you said that may be a good thing so I can get comfortable with writing and delivering.
