Advice needed on how to market the product
Hi,
I have been member for IH for few years, but haven't engaged in this community for a while now, that's because I was building other business aside from tech. I now fabricate products made from steel (mostly in furniture industry). And is going quite good (at least pays the bills)
One of my sales channels is Etsy and there I came up with micro-saas idea a while ago and recently put in on public domain.

This tool generates summary of sales by country from CSV file (that Etsy generates) and allows to save it as PDF. It's very helpful for sellers from European Union for tax reports. I have few more ideas how to improve the product (feature wise) and know to monetize it.
Problem: I don't know how to market it. Tried posting it on reddit (no traction) and on Etsy's community forum and got it removed by mods.
Any ideas how to market it?
Buy a cheap product from a big store, then slide in whilst theyre wet from your sale and penetrate their dms.. better to warm them up instead of going in cold..
See the buying of their product as a cost of doing business.

Sometimes you got to tell a white lie.. "my product hasn't arrived" and somehow get an email convo going.. Are you able to add your email address to "notes" of an order on Etsy? or phone number?
