I had an idea for a service that connects smaller e-commerce stores with affiliate sites that had their commissions slashed by Amazon last year. Does anyone know of a company that does this already? If you own an affiliate site or e-commerce store would you be interested in a service like this?
Great idea man!
Oh, I think I can help you with that. I've been looking for a reliable affiliate program for a long time, and through trial and error, I managed to find Smartlink platform. I'm pretty sure it'll serve your needs because it provides high EPC and offers from known advertisers, and the minimum payment there is only $1 commission-free.
This sounds like an awesome idea. A suggestion I would have is to check out the online automatic personalization platform called Twik. They offer you to revolutionize your online platforms by offering the necessary tools to personalize the web experience. I have used it and it has worked numbers for me. Let me know if you have any questions!
I would only consider a smaller e-commerce site over a brand like Amazon if they have a very high commission on a product that sells like hot cakes. A lot of people are already on Amazon, so the chances of making a sale are much higher. Better to earn 100 x 10 cents every day than 10 dollars once a week. Those smaller sites are likely to be on Clickbank.
So I was thinking about this from a physical product perspective. Clickbank is typically digital products. Amazon cut commissions across the board by about 50% in every category. If content sites could get the old commission back with a reputable e-commerce brands do you think they would be interested? I say "smaller" as in smaller than amazon. Not a pop up dropshipping store. If you could do this with an ecom store doing 7-8 figures in revenue I think a lot of people would take the risk. I think a lot of content sites that had their revenue cut by 50% would be interested. Are you aware of any matchmaking service like this?
There are a lot of affiliate networks for all kinds of products and services. I don't think I've seen a gap in that market, one can partner with businesses of all sizes and types. The networks I know have the kind of deals you are mentioning... You need to do more research to validate your idea, you may come up with something new.
You're right. There are a lot of affiliate networks, the competition is unbelievable.
