Affordable digital marketing tools for SMBs?

Hi everyone! Could you please recommend the most affordable digital marketing tools (for SEO, content marketing, and social media) for a small business? The budget's tight so I'm looking for ANY opportunity to save on the software. If you have any coupons/special deals, I'll greatly appreciate if you could share them with me. Thank you! ❤️

Have you looked into the deals provided by such websites as appsumo and stacksocial? For a small subscription, you'll get access to freebies and discounts which might be helpful if you're on a budget.

AppSumo sounds like a plan. Thanks!

Here are some tools that I use on every day basis @Arthur_igorevich 👇 -

    1. Streak extension for Gmail
    2. Publer for social media scheduling
    3. Alexa ranking to track my SEO efforts
    4. Hubspot tracking tag for better analytics
    5. Metatags .io for optimizing site titles and meta data

Hope this list helps you out! 😄

P.S This is on separate note (not digital marketing), but if you are tight on budget, you can check out Brutask. It's a free to use task manager that I've launched quite recently. I think it might help you in the early stages :)

What I would absolutely recommend before you end up down a million rabbit holes of tools, take a step back and identify what your digital marketing strategy is. What are you trying to achieve, and what channels are you looking to market on? Once you have that strategy you can then look at what tools/standard operation procedures support that strategy. By doing this, you don't get stuck on features that you think you need (but don't), and you can also look more broadly at how those tools all work together to achieve your strategy. Strategy > Tools

    Hi Arthur!

Depending on what you're building, my product Revvo might be able to help.

We're a review automation tool that texts your customers after a sale or at a trigger point of your choosing asking them to leave a review on places like Google, which will help you rank higher on search results.

We also have a feature that will come out in the next month or two for promotional messaging, so you can text your customers about updates or sales/promotions.

You can check it out at Revvo.ca, plans start at $40 per month but as a fellow IndieHacker I'm more than happy to cut you a deal.

Just let me know if you're interested!

Wow! Thanks, Cody. I'll check it out and come back to you if I need a discount.

I know affordable agencies and freelancers and I can match you with them. if you want, just let me know

I think we'd better start off ourselves and then see how it goes. If we fail, then of course we'll think about delegating all this to an agency. But thanks a lot! Can I DM you if I need the list of these agencies you've mentioned?

  9. 1

I'd recommended you choose good agency and start working with it because agency has experience, full staff and tools which partly allocated for your project and you don't waste your time to dive into SEO, Adwords, Facebook ads and etc.

    1. 1

Indeed. But hiring an agency is a bit pricy for us at this point.
