I'm building https://getguidesail.com
I've been interested in launching my own SaaS for so long. It's all I've thought about for years. But between procrastination and mostly fear, I've been putting it off.
Earlier this year I tweeted about my goal for 2023: Build something & Share it with the world.
I was super motivated and did put time into some ideas. But the same fear and procrastination led me to another year of inaction.
In the past few months I've been pushing myself slowly. I've finally build out 80% of GuideSail. A no-code tool for building guides/userflows on top of your SaaS app.
I'm ready to go live with my landing page to build a waitlist before I launch in 2 weeks.
Please roast the heck out of https://getguidesail.com and help me get it as good as can be before my beta launch.
I hope I can come back here in a month to share a successful launch story.
Thanks!
Great start Haseeb.
You could consider a different typeface for your headings thats more characterful.
You could also do with some copy around why it would benefit a business to add the chrome extension, how this might improve a business, ROI - maybe show some examples. Show the problems that it solved.
The brown panel near the bottom doesn't sit well with the rest of the brand, maybe consider a different color and some more information around what happens once it is launched.
all the best.
Neil
Thanks Neil, I will definitely look into making some of these changes asap
Congrats Haseeb! Some small suggestions:
Good luck with the launch!
Thanks Allison. Good to know the product is not too tough to understand, Ill reduce my wording.
Regarding the live demo, what are your thoughts on the short explainer gif in the hero? Too complicated?
Oh I see! To be honest, I didn't even notice that the first time around. The hero font is way large and grabs all the attention and the gif is pretty small. I'd recommend making that a better balance or dropping the gif to the next line and making it bigger / maybe even full width.
Thank you again for the valuable input.
I think I need to review my responsive layout because it's fairly large on the screens I've tested. Thank you for that.
One thing that I appreciate about your landing page is that you include quick animations that showcases how your browser extension works.
However, you should specify if your beta is available to be used. According to your copy, your beta product is available for use but it is also not available for use.
On the other hand, I appreciate how color-coordinated your website is.

Excellent ideas Alan, thank you. Glad to hear it's clear what it does.
Based on your and Allison's suggestions I will start with adding a demo on top of the landing page itself. But you've given me the idea to make some example 'app' pages and show the demos running on them.
