After 6 months of hardship, I finally launched my Saas

Uncody.com
Saas was something that always interested me, I always dreamt of owning one.
Somehow I felt it is more achievable than other ideas, Maybe it is may be it's not.
I had the required skills, confidence plus the enthusiasm to build one but that alone isn't enough to build a product. You need to have ideas, Idea that you believe in, that is challenging enough to keep you interested , through thick and thin.

So, I eagerly started to search for Ideas day in day out but they are really hard to come. Some did hit me but weren't interesting enough to me. Its really hard to find a Founder-idea fit.

Finally, I drooped the idea if coming up with something new and innovative rather take something that is clumsy and complex and make it easy atleast for a very small usecase.

Since the change in approach there were quite a few platforms I really hated to work with, one of the was obviously webflow, it was really too difficult and time consuming to build something beautiful, elegant and modern, Me being a frontend dev by profession immediately liked the challenge to build a landing page builder thats easy to use, some how these website builders always intrigued me.

And, this is how the journey started, I had zero idea how website builders are built, Only the abstract of end product and then goal to deliver in my mind.

I did research on how to build a website builder but thanks to my hard luck didn't find anything useful. There is almost zero guides on how to build one step by step.

Anyways, I jumpshiped thinking somehow I would get it all in the time to come.
I worked on it for almost 3 months, with some of my own assumptions and gathering some in bits and pieces available through out the internet.

I did build a small functioning app but it was terrible, my approach was wrong even adding a single line of code was breaking the app badly, it was neither scalable nor maintainable. I realised I have hit a hard dead end, even the internet and support forums couldn't help me.

I lost almost all my motivation, the next one month was not spend on coding anything , not even sitting infront of the laptop researching. It was just spent on dreaming of the right approach to somehow come to me, and there came the day almost after a month when I was half asleep, half awake an Idea struck me.
I immediately woke up gave a run through to the idea in my mind, it passed all the checks somehow I still didn't believe it would work.

I needed to do it to believe it. Took my laptop from the corner, cleaned the dust and coded a small part of the idea for days straight, until it finally worked to my surprise. Guess what, dreams do come true and miracles happen.

Next, 2 months spent on rewriting then entire application again, only this time it was way more maintainable and scalable, I couldn't be any more happy about it.

Last one month was spent on perfecting our landing page builder adding all the essential features the user might want, Payments, subscription, onboarding.
these things never end :)

And finally we are here, I am happy that uncody could finally see the light of the day and we hope we add tons of customers starting today.
