This the situation, I have been learning front end development but I still have not grasp JavaScript I only work with HTML, CSS, SASS, Tailwind CSS, any CSS, Alpine.js framework , Figma, Sketch....
I would love to know if you have any tip for me because I am applying to my very first tech job and I am not sure if my:
...are on point.
The thing is that I have built 7 projects and closed two, this projects are being used by 27k users monthly but I have been working as sales advisor and now is time to move to tech because i have enough skills to do so.
I am currently learning javascript at Tree House on my own path.
Would love to know what you think!
If you have any question feel free to DM me here or on twitter https://twitter.com/Mike_Andreuzza

Hi Michael,
Ever thought of applying on toptal?
I'm pretty sure you could make a killing thereπ(in a good way, of course).
toptal? Actually no...Let me have a look.
Thank you John!
Sure thing! If you make it, that will give you some decent side $$$.
On a negative side-note, I just got rejected by them one hour ago (had my final interview). I am beyond pissed -- I wrote them a huuge complaint about the interviewer -- seriously he was a piece of shit, I can't really find a better word for him.
Basically it's clear he didn't take one look at my code (which took me quite a while to build) and he disqualified me over 2 minor issues he "thinks" are not ok (both issues could be solved within 20-30 mins).
Anyway, I'm curious what toptal will have to say at my complaint - I gave them quite a few details.
i was filling up the application it is had no picture of me.....
so I stopped.
Yeah... As I said, right now I'm filling very negative towards toptal. I've written them that huge complaint, I'm curious they'll do anything about it....
And their "onboarding" process is slow as fuck. I waited close to 2 months to get here....
Hi Mike, this is pretty great what you're doing. However, I don't think this is the best place to have posted this.
Try the developer group -since many would have been where you are at some point, you should find someone that'll offer useful advice. Or post to IH in general.
Good luck!
Cheers.
