After almost 2 years of building we’re live on Product Hunt!

Hey Indie hackers,

Finally, the day has come! After almost 2 years of building I’m super excited to share that Omnisearch is now live on Product Hunt.

The whole idea about the product was born during my time at Amazon. Think of an Amazon-like big company with thousands of hours of internal video materials. And then imagine trying to find moments in videos where “C++ templates” are covered, or “erasure encoding”, or "gradient boosting". It really sucked.

After experiencing such a problem I talked about it with my longtime friend and now co-founder Matej. We did a couple of brainstorming sessions together and then decided to go all-in in our journey to build a solution that will make all the content on each website searchable.

Fast forward to these days, Omnisearch is able to perform deep content search, which means that users are now able to find exact moments that occur in each audio/video file. Today's launch also enables you to find objects, logos, or people inside images or videos using textual queries.

Since we started our journey we’ve hit some huge milestones:

Raised $450k in pre-seed round
Processed 65,000 + files for our customers
Reached more than 1,000.000 people through our dashboard
Built an awesome 7-person team
