After Putting In 100 Hours Into This Website, Here's What I Came Up With! 😍

My design agency, Brucira just turned 3 years old and I couldn't be happier! Looking back, it feels like yesterday was the day when I and @harshvijay talked about starting out on our own journey of building an agency!

Brucira started from scratch, it was a slow and arduous process that took nurturing and dedication. Momentum built up when the team started to grow!

The Website Idea 💡

We wanted to celebrate this milestone in an extraordinary way like never before, so we came up with ideas to do it. And finally, everyone decided to give the innovative idea of plotting the timeline to tell our story. This was a little different, a little scary but a lot exciting!

Process 📑

Here' how the process went about in creating this timeline website -

1. We initially identified major points for the agency like milestones. We started with the most significant ones from getting our first client to hiring our first employee and launching impactful products.
2. Illustrations took hours of efforts to craft the background thought process and thinking about how to connect the dots to create a meaningful story.
3. Coding and deployment was challenging since the timeline bar at the bottom was a tricky problem to solve. The scrolling experience needed to be perfectly aligned with each snippet of the story. While it took some time since, the process was exciting because it was a new experience for us as well!

What's Next? 🤔

Plotting these three years on a Jan-Dec timeline made us a lot emotional. It's a story which made us realize the power of dreams, work ethic, passion and of course, good design once again!
