After starting building in public, did you start to get cold emails from all kinds of individuals and businesses?

I recently started to build my product in public, and I started to get some some unsolicited emails trying to sell me all kinds of services. They are not a LOT, but they are annoying.
Did it happen to you as well? How are you dealing with it?
We do attract some unwanted messages but that's generally limited to Twitter (or platform of BIP).
Just curious - did you make your email public?
If you need to, maybe try creating a dedicated email for this project.
I receive more on my work email, where I use it for various services, and it is also made public on the company website. I imagine sometimes there is a requirement to have a public company email listed somewhere, and when that happens, it usually gets targeted in various outreach campaigns.
I know because I also scraped some websites and got some email addresses to do some cold outreach XD and I encountered a bunch of websites employing some code obfuscation for displaying emails on their website, so that they are not visible through scripts, and get only rendered in a read browser.
Same! I always mark them as spam, so less of them make it in my inbox in the first place. And if they get through that, I block them to avoid their 3 week automated drip campaign

Yes. I receive tons of unsolicited emails, especially from companies selling outsourced software development. I just always ignore them.

Same, I just delete them. Sometimes they are persistent and follow back multiple times (once, I had a company follow back 6 times on the same thing with things "not sure you read my previous email" or things like this)
Same here, I always ignore them. I've had a few people email me with warnings about 'vulnerabilities' on my landing page followed by them demanding payment for disclosing the information. From the looks of it they've run the site through a basic scanner that's flagged some info/warnings that aren't bad, but for someone who doesn't know what they're looking at it can be scary (I'm a developer).
I've also had people try to sell me design services... After looking at my landing page which offers design services.
