After struggling with a product I dont have the capacities for, I now got back to a product I made 4 years ago ... and i succeed

At least a bit.

My last product was a churn tracking software I wanted to build as a drop in script that tracks any user movement and predicts when people might churn in the near future. My first MVP was a simple feedback tool that collects feedback by tags and gives you some kind of insights along the way.

It was way too small to provide real value for the money and my vision was way larger .. unfortunately I dont have the capacity or skills to stomp the real value bringing thing out of the ground in a reasonable amount of time.

Last week a friend told me that she needed some kind of tool to manage her projects as a freelancer and while there are many tools which do project managment for you, she was not satisfied at all with asana, notion and stuff. she needed something streamlined, simple and nice which immediately tells your certain metrics and is able to product invoices according to german law.

Coincidentally I made exact such product years ago. Since my tech stack changed over the years i decided to rebuild the whole thing in a matter of days. To be honest, I am really proud of myself. I mean sure, most of the code was already there .. I had to optimize a lot but didn't have to build anything from scratch.

My friend is now using my product as an early adopter. She is so eager to give me feedback and has a lot of great ideas. For now my goal is to get more early adopters out of my network to iterate to PMF. Once I think the software is ready, I would like to get more and more into the marketing game but for now I am focusing entirely on the product and on acquiring hand picked users.

Weirdly I am so calm when I look at my own work and don't have any feeling of missing anything out as it was with my previous products.
