I recently started consulting on no-code & operations for startups, so in that spirit, I built a website entirely on Notion (minus the landing page). I didn't know it was possible until I shipped it 🚢 For each section, I made Rebrandly URLs, so I have analytics for each page!
Cool! We've written a blog post on how to create blog using nextjs + notion :)
https://splitbee.io/blog/notion-as-cms-using-nextjs
It includes also analytics for notion using splitbee.io (the saas I'm working on)
Very cool! Can you share the settings in cloudflare for CNAME (or whatever the DNS record is) for help.splitbee.io that allows it to function this way?
Just an A record to a random valid IP, i took 192.0.2.1. Be sure to proxy the request over cloudflare!
Dude, this is super cool! Thanks for sharing 😎
Yooo! Damn this is cool :) I will definitely look into setting this up. I had to pay for $30 for Rebrandly due to unexpected traffic ugh. What kind of analytics does your set up provide?
Splitbee.io is a combination of Google Analytics/Mixpanel and Optimizely. You can just register there (currently for free), add your domain and just test it out.
It provides you basic analytics (page views, unique users, top referrer, top pages)
A/B testing and also user analytics (track custom events) and more coming soon!
Takes a while to load.
Also as a client I would think if they can't afford a website how serious are they.
Privet! Thanks for the feedback. I agree. Perhaps if anything shows for this is that I got 4k clicks and two leads from this. In terms of the future, I think this is temporary. I do love that it syncs directly with my Notion CRM. So when the eventually drop the API, I imagine I could set up a sycn with Webflow.
It's such a great idea Temirlan. Just a quick question: Have you been able to track your website or integrate any tracking tool?
hey! so right now, i can only track link clicks with rebrandly.com.
however, super, a new service that allows one to integrate tracking scripts — check it out!
Thank you! I've heard about rebrandly so I might try it out. The super URL doesn't work unfortunately.
For the schedule window, it seems it's notion compatibly designed. Is it from notion premium?
oh! here's the right one: super.so. regarding the scheduling, that's actually a form from paperform.co.
I love this! Kudos
Thanks :) Appreciate the love.
It's a nice approach @optemization - it looks like some comments here can't accept the creativity and the idea of going away from normal.
One thing that I would improve your notion site would be spacing. More spacings between sections would definitely helpful for readers :) I'm also attempting to create a micro-site for my little side hustle, would love to exchange ideas.
Hola! Thanks for the praise :) It definitely does have some drawback as a few peeps highlighted. Let me see how I can play around with the spacing — thanks for the tip!
Damn...Zlides looks well-designed 👏 Happy to help :) Are you part of the NoCodeFounders Slack?
It's a great approach of no-code system ! Great work
I like the fact that people try to make their first client and first cash (CA ) without having to pay for a developer or any expansive tool.
I would say that maybe there is a bit to much informations on the "Landing page". Makes it hard to read to me. (I am not good at reading fast ^^)
Great experience in general in my opinion I am sharing this to my friends.
Hey! Thanks for your comment. Definitely heard that sentiment. I will see what I can do to improve this :) I already have individual content pages set up for all the sections.
I don't like the leakyness of having the notion branding on the site, and indeed the notion domain name. It's great for notion of course, but not so good for you. I think it is worth paying to remove the branding and get a custom domain. If you can't do that then Wordpress is a pretty good no-code solution.
Hi! Yep, I get it, thanks for the thoughts. I think there is a way to get rid of their domain up above. I might explore that option but I am just not sure how much of an issue at scale this is. Will investigate
A different experience than the usual website methodology. The only problem is that the app gets a bit laggy at times. Apart from that it's cool that people can take a look at what's happening.
👋 Yep — speed is def an issue. Hope that it is resolved soon :) Glad you like the transparency idea. That was the whole point!
Hey Everyone 👋
I am working on making a wiki, feature-built for Agencies (cheatsheet .framer .ai)
It has a powerful AI search and specific UI elements like 'email', 'chat', 'SOP', 'script', and more.
Does anyone think this would be helpful for their agencies?
