I shipped AgentPay because of a comment.
Someone said they'd only trust agent-to-agent payments if Stripe was behind it. We already had that. So we stopped waiting and shipped it first.
The problem we kept running into: every autonomous AI workflow eventually hits the same wall. An agent needs to pay for something — data, a service, another agent's output — and suddenly a human has to pull out their phone and tap approve. That's not autonomous. That's just a chatbot with extra steps.
AgentPay removes the human from the payment layer entirely.
Agent A initiates. Stripe holds funds in escrow. Agent Monitor confirms delivery. Funds release. No phone. No notification. No human.
Stripe's new agent wallet is A2Me — your agent buys things for you. AgentPay is A2A — agents paying each other at machine speed. Same Stripe rails underneath. Different layer on top.
We never touch the money. Stripe does. That's the point.
Still early. Waitlist open. Would love feedback from anyone building autonomous agent workflows who's hit this wall.
